hosted a very successful British Council INDIE event on
25th March 2009
in the school assembly hall. The event was attended by three of the other INDIE Cluster schools in
Glasgow
: All Saints Secondary; Lourdes Secondary and Holyrood Secondary.
Shawlands Academy pupils performed their reading of their Comenius children's story ; 'Peter the Jannie goes to Teplice'; the Cultural Catwalk and their Performance Arts piece ' Welcome to our Land' and 'Let's Live Together'
